Everyone talks about how Spinosaurus was one of the biggest dinosaur predators that ever walked the earth and some estimates put him at being around 56 feet long and 8 tons, but does that automatically make him the most dangerous predators ever?
I think there has been a great misconception about how lethal Spinosaurus really was.
In the movie Jurassic Park 3 they had a Spinosaurus Square off against a T-rex with Spinosaurus snapping T-Rex's neck in 2. In real life Spino could never have done this to T-Rex because Spinosaurus's neck was very weak and so were his jaws. From what scientists have said it seems like he was mostly a fisher and scavenger of allready killed prey.
Tyranosaurus Rex's jaws are among the most lethal killing machines of all timeand once he would have had Spinosaurus's neck in the grip of its jaws it would have never escaped and would have had its own neck snapped in two.
This is yet another over exaggeration of the strength of Spinosaurus.
